2D flip art

This is were i have got up to on my book. My book is about skin disease! I have done: hand, foot, tummy area and part of a head.I stuck 5 pages together in each side to create strength. Then using a knife I cut out the body parts, scored along the bottom and then they could stand up. I am really pleased with the way it turned out, I was a bit sceptical when I realised the book was about skin desiese.

For my art work we are using recycled books to create jawdropping work! we will use these unwanted books and revive them to there full potential. We are going to use the story of the book we get to create the scene on top. also we are looking at Tom Phillips a well known English artists ans he uses text form books to create  his art work.
